Five years ago I was a competitive athlete, training for several basketball teams and playing 2 games a week, when I was diagnosed with shin splints. After several painful months of unsuccessful physiotherapy I had given up. I was resigned to the fact that I couldn’t run and therefore had to give up basketball. I started putting on weight.
After hearing about MEFIT’s personal training ‘Bootcamps’ from my sister I decided it was time to get active again.
Mike took the time to discuss my situation and he programmed the fitness sessions so that I could not only cope but improve also.
By the end of the 4 week program I was actually jogging!
After the first Boot camp Cronulla, excellent results I enrolled in a second and then when the chance to be involved in ‘Luckiest Loser’ came, I couldn’t pass it up, knowing the excellent results I could achieve with MEFIT personal training sutherland shire.
With the support, excellent customized fitness programs and a little determination I have now lost a total of 19kg and am feeling better then I have in years!
Thanks to MEFIT personal training at Gymea, I am now back playing the sport I love!
