At first, I was a bit reluctant to make the phone call but after moments of hesitation, I called Mike Evans at MEFIT personal trainining Sutherland Shire and to this day, I do not regret my decision.
The first moment I met Mike, he made me feel at ease and being a woman of plus nature, I feel totally comfortable with him. These two factors were critical towards my selection of the right Personal Trainer. I train with Mike weekly/fortnightly for an hour at each session. I can never predict what to expect at these sessions and each is different. There have been times our simple exercises has made me feel that I’ve just completed a marathon. I was one of those that believed that you had to train intensively to get the results faster but Mike has taught me otherwise. As part of my regime I also walk in the weekends and attend boxing classes.
It’s through Mike’s guidance that he has turned a woman who once stood on the scales and cringed at the “3 numbers” that she can proudly stand on those scales today and look down at the “double digits”. I do have another 25 kilos to lose and once I reach my goal I would’ve lost a grand total of 40 kilos. I lost 10 kilos before I met Mike but since I’ve been training with him, my weight has shifted tremendously.
I participated in the “Shire’s Biggest Loser” last year. I did it purely for fun and I certainly didn’t think I would win a prize. But, the surprise was on me, when I received a notification that I had won “6 Free Personal Training sessions”. What a great Christmas present. Thanks Mike.
My mission for the 2nd half of the year is to attend the MEFIT Boot Camp cronulla. I have to be honest. I’m not a morning person so the early morning rise will be interesting.
On a final note, I would like to mention to those that wish to embark on a journey of healthy living or to those that are seeking to increase their fitness. Two things go hand-in-hand, a positive attitude and the right teacher.
Mike Evans is the one teacher that I have no hesitation to recommend and he will certainly be on this journey with me until the very end.
